Account management and residence
Can I keep my Cornèrtrader Miles & More account if I move abroad?
In principle, you can keep your Cornèrtrader account. However, the Miles & More programme must be terminated. This means that your investments can no longer earn Miles and standard pricing will apply.
Can I have a Cornèrtrader Miles & More account if I don't live in Switzerland?
No, Cornèrtrader Miles & More is available exclusively to Swiss residents.
Earning and crediting of miles
Can I earn Miles with my current Cornèrtrader account?
No, Miles can only be earned with a dedicated Cornèrtrader Miles & More account, which has different pricing to a standard account. If you'd like to convert your existing account, this is possible: you'll simply need to sign a new contract, and the Miles & More pricing will apply.
How is the number of Miles credited calculated?
For the calculation of Miles, transaction amounts and investments, i.e. the average portfolio value, are always converted into CHF, regardless of the account or transaction currency. In particular:
- For each transaction in stocks and ETFs, you receive 1 mile for every CHF 10 of the total transaction amount, whether buying or selling. The amount is calculated by multiplying the price of the stock by the quantity, excluding fees, and is converted into CHF at the end-of-day exchange rate.
- For each CFD transaction, you receive 25 Miles for every CHF 1 in transaction fees. The amount is converted into CHF at the end-of-day exchange rate. FX fees, interest and third-party fees are not included.
- For Miles credited quarterly based on your portfolio, you receive 1 mile for every CHF 100 invested in stocks and ETFs. The calculation is based on the total net asset value, i.e. the overall weighted average value of the assets held in the customer's portfolio over the quarter, after deducting all associated liabilities and obligations. The amount is converted into CHF at the end of the quarter.
The minimum amount that can be credited is one (1) mile. Fractional miles are not permitted. Any calculated amount below one mile is disregarded. Miles are rounded down to the nearest whole number.
How long does it take for my Miles to be credited?
Miles earned from your transactions are credited monthly.
Miles awarded based on the average value of your stock and ETF portfolio are credited quarterly.
In general, Miles will be credited within the first two weeks of the following month. Transactions carried out towards the end of the month may be counted in the following month in the event of technical issues. Your Relationship Manager will be happy to assist you with any questions.

Where can I check the Miles I have earned?
- Please login into your Miles & More account statement, via the Miles & More app or milesandmore.com and you will see the Miles earned through Cornèrtrader investments
- For details of Miles awarded for individual transactions, please contact your Cornèrtrader Relationship Manager during business hours.
How do I login to my personal Miles & More account?
If you are a Miles & More member you can login to your Miles & More account. If not, please register with Miles & More and you'll receive full instructions.
When do my Miles expire?
Please always check the applicable Miles validity terms in your Miles & More app or on the Miles & More website.
If you are a Cornèrcard Miles & More customer, you can protect your Miles from expiring by using your credit card at least once a month for a purchase that is eligible to earn Miles.
